Panel, devices, and fixtures from the schedule.
This page is for electrical contractors and GCs who bid from the panel schedule, not from a vibe about “devices.” Panel size, breakers, approximate wire runs, boxes, devices, and fixtures belong on the list when the drawings show them. MEP rough-in is only if the set actually has it — we do not invent a panel for a shell that has none.
Chip Electrical on upload. The trade-contractors page is the generic slice. This page is the Electrical scope inside MEP.
Solo at $200 is five successful takeoffs. Crew at $399 is fifteen and is featured (Most Popular: Full Bid Loop). Shop at $699 is forty. RFQs are on every plan. Failed runs do not count.
The problem
Electrical takeoffs fail when fixtures are counted from a lighting plan that disagrees with the panel schedule, when wire is a round number with no page, and when the emergency panel is missed. A list without citations will be rebuilt in the trailer.
Count-only tools stop at the device count. You still price gear, split SELF versus SUB if you buy a portion, and send a guest RFQ that does not leak your unit prices.
Sunday-Off: still doing manual takeoffs on Sunday night after 30 days? Full refund.
What you get
Upload the PDF. Chip Electrical. ZIP. Run takeoff. Processing time varies with plan size and complexity. We email you.
Review the panel, breakers, devices, fixtures, and approximate wire against the sheets. Open citations. Edit a fixture type when the schedule wins. Then source materials, mark SELF or SUB, send a guest RFQ if you buy the install, apply without double-counting, export. Unpriced gear is an em dash.
See how it works. Then run your first bid. First-takeoff via feedback@takeoffspeed.io. Sunday-Off after 30 days. Cancel anytime. Failed runs do not count. We do not run your company. We help you get the bid out.

What this supports
Electrical is a scope chip. Prompt language: panel size, breakers from the panel schedule, wire runs (approximate), boxes, devices, fixtures. MEP rough-in only if drawings show it.
Trade-grouped list, page chips on high-confidence lines, HIGH / MED / LOW, Needs your eyes for math-mismatch and no-evidence. Line edits. Source FOUND versus BUDGETARY. Guest RFQs: quantities and units only, token page, up to fifteen recipients, due date required.
Browser-based. Solo $200 / 5, Crew $399 / 15 (featured), Shop $699 / 40. RFQs on every plan. CSV and Word.
Sample output
/sample-bid is the golden tenant fit-out — ZIP 34420, $196,682.14 from computeBidTotals, including 10% additional contingency on material costs and 15% markup. Electrical is a real trade on that fixture (including panel work called out in the project scope as panel EM). Read those rows as an interior electrical pass, not as a service upgrade library.
Plan-page source is empty on the fixture’s takeoff lines; live takeoffs include available page references for review. One plumbing quote is applied on that page; electrical on the sample is not the applied SUB slice. CSV and Word stay disabled until you sign in.
What this does not do
No scheduling, no payroll, no change-order log. We do not run your company. We help you get the bid out.
A human reviews every line. Wire runs are approximate unless the drawing supports better. We do not claim a complete load calc. We do not claim every device is on the list. FOUND is listed retail, not your supply house.
Your first subscription: one free takeoff in a 14-day trial. A credit card is required. Cancel before trial end to avoid billing. Refunds at feedback@takeoffspeed.io. Cancel anytime.
