- TakeoffSpeed produces an itemized materials takeoff grouped by trade.
- High-confidence line items carry a citation to the specific plan page they were counted from.
- A math sanity-check pass flags calculation mismatches before you bid.
- Live retail prices are sourced by ZIP code where available; for quoted commodities without a public retail price, TakeoffSpeed can send RFQ emails to subcontractors and suppliers.
Accuracy stance
TakeoffSpeed cites its sources instead of asking you to trust a black box, and it runs a math sanity-check pass on its own output before you see it. It is still a starting point: every line item is meant to be reviewed and, where it matters, verified by a human before it goes into a bid.
